Cochin to Kumarakom
On your arrival at the Cochin airport, the Swan Tours representative will welcome you and assist you on a drive to Kumarakom that is known as the Venice of East that takes you to the best backwater cruise and a number of island villages around the Vembanad lake. Enjoy the cruise, resort facilities like spa, ayurvedic retreats and also the sunset. Stay overnight at the hotel you check-in at Kumarakom.
Kumarakom Sightseeing
Right after finishing breakfast, start with the guided sightseeing tour at Kumarakom where you will come across the bird Sanctuary, to watch for the best bird species like Siberian crane, egret, heron, waterfowl, ducks, moorhens, and Kingfisher. After the same, enjoy the massage and spa in the resort that is popular here followed by an overnight stay in the hotel.
Kumarakom – Kovalam
Wake up to the morning breakfast and depart after check-out from Kumarakom to Kovalam on a guided tour. Kovalam is admirable for its peaceful environs, coconut palms, soothing beaches, headlands, all making it an enticing place for tourists. On arrival, check-in the hotel that is prescribed and stay overnight right after dinner.
Excursion to Kanyakumari from Kovalam
After having breakfast, you will set out on a trip to Kanyakumari from Kovalam where you will love to enjoy the historical museum in the Napier Museum, followed by the Padmanabhaswamy Temple and finally to Kanyakumari that is 90 km away at the southernmost tip of South India. Later, you can head to the Vivekananda Rock Memorial that is a spiritual place dedicated to Swami Vivekanand. Return to Kovalam on a guided drive and stay overnight after dinner.
Excursion to Kanyakumari from Kovalam
